always kick it off with a drawing.


i cut the letter stencils out of some masking paper. it was easy to draw on and maneuver.

a little spray-tack on the back of the letters, slap 'em on the medium density overlay (MDO), and a light dusting of spray paint. peel away, and snap! - time to cut.


a stack of cut out letters. time to ice my wrists, maybe with a cold canned drink or two.


laid out in the crawl (duck your head) space, a few coats of oil-based primer front and back, of course. fumes, dewd. get me outta here.


that's better. hung and done with. good times at the bike shop.


One can do as much as one wants with what one has. Ingenuity is always my best tool.
